For ten days Krakow’s Main Square will be filled with stalls with folk art and craftsmanship. Approximately 450 artists from all parts of Poland, as well as from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Lithuania will come to Krakow. What’s more, there will also be guests from Pakistan and Cyprus. Every afternoon various folklore shows will be held. 140 artistic ensembles from different parts of the world will present themselves on the stage. It’s worth to mention that each day of the Fair will be devoted to different countries, regions, provinces and localities.
The main idea of International Fair of Folk Art is to present folk arts and crafts at the Main Square of Kraków, which for centuries was famous for the big markets, fairs and exhibitions. It’s an amazing world to discover!
