The Cracow Summer School Workshop, July 2010

The Growth Research Unit [GRU] at the Cracow University of Economics is a group of international academics and/or policy makers specialised on the behavioural variance of capitalist systems in the transforming economies of CE Europe and SE Asia.

We would like to invite international students to join our summer school programme in Southern Poland, which will run for seven days and which is made up of three specialized workshops and includes a built in company field trip. The three workshop modules that will be provided are: Growth and its Determinants, Finance and Banking, Trade and Investment . Each of these modules will draw closely on related fields such as welfare distribution, labour market change, public and private finance, policy, foreign direct investment, its location and its impact on the development of regional production and trade.
